Ostler.Host is run by Anastasia Tattersall, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. I’m the data controller for the information described here. You can reach me at ostler.host@gmail.com.
We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service: Netlify (website and waitlist form), Google (email), Hostinger (the server that runs our automations), Anthropic (the AI that drafts Ostler’s replies), Telegram (messages between Ostler and hosts), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database) and Firecrawl (reading the public listing pages hosts give us). Some of these providers process data outside the UK; where they do, the transfer is protected by safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or standard contractual clauses.
Ostler uses Google’s Gmail API only to send emails from ostler.host@gmail.com, such as the waitlist welcome email, and to reply to messages people send us. We don’t read, analyse, share or sell Gmail data for any other purpose. Ostler’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Just email ostler.host@gmail.com and I’ll reply myself. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection authority where you live.
If we change how we use your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
